COOPERATION BETWEEN MACEDONIAN CONFEDERATION OF FREE TRADE UNIONS AND COALITION SEGA

27.04.2017 – Macedonian Confederation for Free Trade Unions and Coalition SEGA signed Memorandum for cooperation under the motto “Young people have their own labor rights – 365 days of labor rights (worker’s rigths)”

In occasion of 1st of May, the International day of labor, SEGA and the Macedonian Confederation of Free Trade Unions have organized a campaign for promotion of young people and improvement of the social – economic condition. With the Memorandum of cooperation, SEGA and the Macedonian Confederation of Free Trade Unions are obliged to undertake mutual efforts for further improvement of the economic and social condition of youth, creation of policies and bigger inclusion, promotion of youth into the labor market and exchange of good practices and improvement of professional expertise.

Today we formalized the cooperation that lasts for a long period of time. In the moment the mutual decision for signing a Memorandum of cooperation is the start of the campaign “Young people have their own labor rights -365 days of labor rights” that we promoted in occasion of 1st of May. The aim is young people to be integrated into syndicate’s movement and in the labor market, to be educated about labor rights (worker’s rights) and to be improved the economic and social condition for creation of a new and permanent working places for young people. We as a Trade Union protector of the worker’s rights and the Coalition SEGA, whose main motto is youth and youth employment, has made a lot in this direction. Now we continue to work on youth integration in the society”, said Blagoja Ralpovski, president of the Macedonian Confederation of Free Trade Unions.

According to Nikola Stankosi, president of the Governing Board of Coalition SEGA, with the signing of this memorandum of cooperation we will undertake mutual efforts for improvement of the condition of young people and their economic and social condition and creation of policies for bigger inclusion into the labor market. A special accent will be put on the cooperation with the youth section of Macedonian Confederation of Free Trade Unions that are very active at local and international level. “Our aim is to provide exchange of experiences, expert knowledge in order to improve the condition of young people. In this direction we are presenting the campaign, through which we will act on youth information for their labor (worker’s) rights”, said Stankoski.

Coalition of youth organizations SEGA works in the field of youth information, employment, building capacities of young people as well as encouraging their participation in the democratic life.

ПОВИК ЗА ЧЛЕНОВИ НА СОВЕТИ НА МЛАДИ ЗА УЧЕСТВО НА НАЦИОНАЛНА РАБОТИЛНИЦА

Коалиција на младински организации СЕГА во соработка со Агенција за млади и спорт започна со имплементација на проектот „Учество на младите во процесот на донесување на одлуки“. Проектот се спроведува со поддршка од Национална агенција за европски образовни програми и мобилност, преку програмата Еразмус+, Клучна Акција 3 (Структурен дијалог). Целта на овој проект е да се подобри функцијата и улогата на Советите на Млади и на тој начин да се влијае на подобрување на младинското учество во демократскиот живот.

Во првата фаза на проектот беше организирана Национална работилница „Како до зголемување на младинското учество преку зајакнување на функцијата на Советите на млади“ со носители на одлуки на национално ниво. Следуваа локални дискусии во 10 општини на кои се прибираа мислењата на младите луѓе и претставниците на локалните институции во однос на чекорите.

Во периодот од 11 - 14 мај 2017 година, во хотел Бисер, Струга ќе се одржи Национална Работилница „Подобрување на функцијата на Советите на млади“ на која ќе учествуваат членови на Совети на Млади и донесувачи на одлуки на локално ниво. Работилницата има за цел да се развијат препораки за зајакнување на функцијата, улогата и капацитетите на Советите на млади, како и за нивно вмрежување како на регионално така и на национално ниво.

Се покануваат членовите на Совети на Млади од различните општини во Р. Македонија, да достават апликација за учество на Националната Работилница. За да се пријавите кликнете на овој ЛИНК и пополнете го формуларот со бараните информации.

SECOND MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE PROJECT “OPEN DOOR FOR YOUTH BY YOUTH”

The project Fostering social inclusion through employability enhancement “Open door for youth by youth “Open door for youth by youth” from the second grant scheme of IPA4 component with specific accent on the social inclusion, started with implementation since 15th of December 2015. Coordinator of this project is Coalition of youth organizations SEGA that implements the project in partnership with CESOR and EASP from Macedonia and KABA from Slovakia in the period of 20 months.

On 19th of April 2017 in Skopje, was held the second meeting of the Governing Board of the project Fostering social inclusion through employability enhancement “Open door for youth by youth “Open door for youth by youth”. On this meeting the so far achievements of the project were reviewed, as well as the future activities within the project were presented. The Governing Board is consisted of representatives from institutions and organizations that will be included directly or indirectly in the implementation of the project activities, therefore per one representative from: The Ministry of labor and social affairs of R.M, Institution for social work, Inter-municipality Center for social work from Prilep, Bitola, Shtip and Skopje, Public Institution Children Home “11 ti Oktomvri” – Skopje, Public Institutuin for taking care of children with educational – social problems and the SOS Children Village.

The main aim of the project Fostering social inclusion through employability enhancement “Open door for youth by youth” is to improve the social inclusion of the vulnerable categories of young people through creating of equal opportunities for easier access into the labor market. Also, with this project will be supported, improved and increased the participation of vulnerable groups of young people in the labor market and their entire integration into the society. The final users of this project are young people users of social help and young people with unfavorable life conditions who spend their life in institutions for social protection through which will be provided their inclusion in the society and into the labor market.
