The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA as member organization of ALDA (Association of Local Democracy Agencies) takes active participation in their programme activity “Volunteers for Democracy”. This activity is opportunity for the member organizations of the Coalition SEGA to nominate volunteers interested in Human rights, Local Democracy, and Citizen Participation. The volunteers which will be selected will have opportunity to participate in the activities organized by ALDA and LDA. The only thing that volunteers should fulfill is to have interest to take part of the group “Volunteers for Democracy”.
According to this, the Coalition of youth organizations SEGA announces a call for nomination of volunteers which will be part of the programme activity “Volunteers for Democracy”. Once the selection process by SEGA is finished the selected volunteers will be added to the ALDA’s data base of volunteers and will have opportunity to be invited to attend activities organized by ALDA and LDA. The selected volunteers will be informed via e-mail for the activites (seminars, workshops, trainings, study visits, fairs etc.) in a form of an open call for application for each activity they have interest in. Travel and accommodation cost (including travel insurance) will be covered by ALDA.
The responsibility of each selected volunteer is to send reports to the Coalition of youth organizations SEGA and ALDA for the activities and events that he/she attended.
Terms for application on this call:
- The Volunteer have to be nominated by member organization of the Coalition SEGA; and
- Excellent English skills
