
The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA in cooperation with TVE Great Britain participates in the short movie competition TVEbiomovies 2012. TVE Great Britain is non-governmental organizations which produces and distributes short movies aiming to inspire the changes in the environment. This competition is organized in cooperation with YouTube.
Through the competition all interested people will have opportunity to express their creativity, skills in creating short movies, self-promotion and of course opportunity to present to the world their message.
The short movie competitions entitled as TVEbiomovies 2012 is opened for all ages. Thus, we invite all our member organizations and their volunteers to participate in this competition. The competition is divided in several topics related to the environment: seas and oceans, rivers and lakes, women and climate change, sustainable living and recycling. The proposal (idea) for short movie you should upload online through the application form on the following link: http://www.tvebiomovies.org/enter.php. Films must be a maximum of one minute duration and on one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Arabian, German or Russian.
Once the short movies are being submitted, judges – consisted of representatives of the founders and YouTube celebrities, will select 10 short movies (per two in each category).
The best films will be awarded with US$300 and will be presented at the Conference of UNCOP18 in November 2012 in Qatar.
The short movies will be uploaded to tve's Inspiring Change YouTube channel and the finalists will have opportunity to share their videos on the social networks. There are five categories and there will a prize of US$ 1500 for the winner of each category. The winner will be the film in each category which has received the most views between 26 October 2012 and 19 December 2012.
Dead line for submission of the short movies is 05 September 2012 at the website www.tvebiomovies.org.
