The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA in partnership with ERYICA (European Youth Information and Counseling Agency) announce call for participants in training of trainers “YIntro – Stepping into Youth Information”. The training will be held in the period of 01 - 07 March 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia.
The call is open for employees and volunteers in the member organizations of SEGA. With this call 2 representatives, active youth workers in the field of youth information, will be selected to participate in the training “YIntro – Stepping into Youth Information”.
The applicants should fulfill the following criteria:
Applicants coming from the full member organizations of SEGA will have advantage in the selection process of the participants for the training.
The training is dedicated for beginners in the area of youth information and aims to train youth workers for subjects and skills they need for providing quality information for young people.

The training will be attended at the Kloogaranna Youth Camp (see photos) neat the sea, about 45 minutes from Tallinn. The arrival of the participants is envisaged for the 01 of March 2013, while the official part of the training will be conducted in the period of 02 – 06 March. The departure of the participants is on 07 March 2013. Collective transportation of the participants from / to Tallinn will be organized, so the participants can easily arrange their travel to Estonia.
70% of the travel costs will be reimbursed after the event according to the rules of the Youth in Action Programme, based on original documents for certificate of the reservation, invoices, boarder passes etc.
The maximum amount for travel costs of the Macedonian participants is 600€ per participant.

Youth Council Prilep announces call for participants in Training for acquiring employment skills, as part of the USAID project “YES – Youth Employability Skills Network”, that will be implemented in Prilep in the period of 04 – 07 March 2013.
The training is free of charge for all participants. All participants that will attend the training will receive certificates for participation.
Terms for application of the participants:
- To be aged 18 – 27;
- Not to be engaged in the education process (the call is opened for students in master degree);
- To be unemployed;
- Not to be registered in the Agency for employment (or erased of the Agency evidence);
- To be able to attend all 8 modules.

The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA is sustainable and developed nonprofit youth organization acting on local, national and international level, longterm and serious partner in the implementation of youth programmes together with young people, NGOs, state institutions and business sector. SEGA works on developing and implementing youth policies in Macedonia as well as connecting and strengthening young people to improve their overall state.
The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA implements the project “Implementation of the Convention on the rights of the child in Macedonia” financed by the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation.
The project encompasses activities through which we will act towards improvement of the functioning of the school organizations and as well the process of election of class presidents in the schools.
The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA announces public call for selection of 3 trainers for delivering training courses on the following topics: “Youth Participation”, Lobbying and Advocacy” and “Project Cycle Management”. Target group are elected presidents and members of school and youth organizations in the primary and high schools from Bitola, Ohrid, Struga, Gostivar and Shtip.
The trainers for the trainings of “Youth Participation” and “Lobbying and Advocacy” will be engaged for maximum of 4 days. It is required to deliver two trainings in Youth Participation and two trainings in Lobbying and Advocacy for duration of 2 days per training. On the other hand, the trainer in “Project Cycle Management” should deliver one training course on the subject with duration of 2 days.
Terms for delivering the trainings:
“Youth Participation” 12 – 14 October and 19 – 21 October 2012
“Lobbying and Advocacy” 23 – 25 November and 30 November – 02 December 2012
“Project Cycle Management” 07 – 09 December 2012.

The Coalition of youth organizations SEGA is partner organization of Solidarity Tracks – Greece in the project “Dialogue and solidarity between generations”. The project is opened for one EVS volunteer who will be engaged in the period of one year in the Elderly care center of Lefkas – Greece.

Summary:
“Elderly care centre of Lefkas” can host 1 young volunteer in Lefkas Greece in order to realize together solidarity project of cultural cooperation for the local development.
The project will:
- Continue to organize workshops for a group of 40 elderly in the “Elderly care centre of Lefkas”, as manual activities (handicrafts), physical exercises, intellectual and cultural activities, discussion groups press reviews ... but also external animations in order to maintain a link with the life outside the Centre.
This activity is a part of the social, cultural, communication and human field and their principal objective is the awareness of what means to be European citizen.
- Continue to animate the “Orange” Cultural Coffee which was created by the previous volunteers in the “Elderly care centre of Lefkas”. The Orange Cultural Coffee became a meeting place, a favourite space of gathering for the old people of the Centre where they enjoy, entertain and communicate with their families, the youngsters and the local community.
On the other hand, the activity of the project will be helpful for the host community (Lefkas), for the local development and the reinforcement of solidarity. Also, the proposed projects for the volunteers will enable them to acquire personal, social and technical skills that will be useful for their future careers.
The project will offer them a unique experience in intercultural, social and pre-professional level. During the activities, they will work together and in close cooperation with other volunteers and with different associations and cultural institutions of the region.
