The ToT webinar is intended for representatives of youth organizations, youth workers and young people from all over Europe where detailed practical youth information methods for youth work in the NEET situation will be presented.
Prevention should be priority in order to avoid increasing the number of young people that would be in the situation of NEET and to break the intergenerational cycle of social exclusion. A proactive approach is needed for youth organizations from all over Europe to provide early intervention in order to avoid young people in a situation of NEET.
By strengthening the capacity of youth organizations, youth workers and other stakeholders, we will ensure encouraging the social inclusion of youth in the NEET situation, promoting and increasing the availability of professional counseling and guidance tailored to the needs of socially excluded young people at all stages of their lives. Through this webinar, youth workers will be introduced to the new approach in informing young people in the NEET situation.
The project "Youth Information Centers fit to NEET" aims to increase the quality of youth work in addressing the needs of NEET in Europe, as well as to introduce and apply an innovative youth information approach to the active involvement of NEET in the society. The project is implemented by the Coalition SEGA in partnership with AIE from Poland and UMKI from Croatia with the support of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility through the Erasmus + Program, Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Youth.
